  • Attribute based hiring – Our recruitment and selection strategy focuses on attribute-based hiring, helping veterans transition smoothly into civilian employment by recognising the transferable skills gained through military service, and recognising how we can grow and support staff in the role.

  • Support reservists through flexible working – Our Flexible Working Policy allows reservists and service members to balance their civilian careers with their military commitments.

  • Providing a dedicated Reservists Policy – We have a structured Reservists Policy in place to support those who serve, including additional leave for training and deployment.

  • Training our hiring managers to support veterans and reservists – We ensure all hiring managersreceive specialist training on the challenges in transition from military to civilian employment and how to use the processes we have in place to support them.

  • Reaching the Armed Forces community – We constantly strive to ensure our vacancies are found, such as working with Forces Families Jobs and Veterans UK to promote our vacancies, ensuring they reach veterans, service leavers, and military families.

  • Recognised as a Veterans Aware organisation – As part of our Veterans Aware accreditation, we are committed to being an inclusive employer for those who have served.
